>DCsecial 1.0 filter Installation and descriptions

>Installation: You can either unzip this file directly into
your 'PhotoShop' pluggin directory, or into a temp directory
and copy or move them to you pluggin directory, you're done!

>These are the pluggin filter files:
bdrfd.8bf=BorderFade
clrfd.8bf=ColorFade
pateddo.8bf=PaternEditDo
patedun.8bf=PaternEditUndo
prsrug.8bf=PerssianRug
clrbk.8bf=ColorBook

>Decriptions of each:

>BorderFade: This is a pretty straight forward filter,
edges fade to black at controlled width.

>ColorFade: Almost as staight forward as BorderFade, to
fade to black on edges with this filter, use atleast some
of each color.

>PaternEditDo: This filter is good for making your tiles
merge on the edges, after you 'do', you use whatever tools
you want to blend the edges (since now they are together
the way they will be once tiled). Then to put it back, use
'PaternEditUndo'.'Undo does not undo your changes, only
the edge centering that lets you edit pattern edges. Now
when your immage is tiled, w'lah!, no edges! (that is if
you have blended them before the 'undo'.(Rubber stamp,
smudge tool, and air-brush are the best tools for blending
edges)

>PaternEditUndo: This tool is described 'PaternEditDo',
and is only needed because pictures can have odd numbers
of rows/collums of pixles, otherwise the do would even
undo. Should you by mistake use 'undo' to 'do', simply use
'do' to 'undo'. In the case where you use the same one
twice, if there is an odd number of x/y pixles, there will
be a line along one or two edges, just use the other one
twice, it'll be fixed.

>PerssianRug: This is a cool tile maker, it take a defined
part part of the picture, flips it and flops it, sticks it
all together, and be suprised!

>ColorBook: This is so powerful, I barely know where to
begin. The way I start, is with a selection of part of the
picture (about 2"x2") so I get an accurate representation
in the sample window, because with larger pictures the
sample window will exagerate the settings effects (only in
the sample window). Then with color sliders (sliders 5,6,7)
up full (makes screen white), line color cenered (slider 4),
and then each difference slider (1-3) makes lines in it's
own color as it is adjusted toward the left. Once the other
colors start comming through on it, I adjust the next slider.
Then I make the lines black (slider 4). Now sliders 5,6,7
cenered, bring the 'unlined' parts back to normal color, and
each color can be adjusted in or out to produce cartoon like
immages in many ranges of color. Also try (1-3) @ 5, (4) @
127, (5-7) @ 50. note: if you get too much noise when
adjusting difference, try adjusting the contrast/brightness
first.
